White House Denounces 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Photos Made Public

Democratic lawmakers have made public a new tranche of what they described as "troubling" photographs from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—some of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 released later on Friday account for a small number of the approximately 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The shamed investor was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

Notable Figures in the Photos

Included in the high-profile individuals seen in the first release are well-known figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump appears in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Response

The White House addressed the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false account."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official remarked, asserting that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats ever have by consistently demanding disclosure, disclosing reams of records, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Congressional Democrat Remarks

The photos were released without context, but per a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to wealthy individuals.

"Now is the occasion to end this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he said in a release.

The disclosure of these images comes as the House panel proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein matter.
